About

Every story points to Christ. That is the whole idea, and the name comes from it.

A scarlet thread runs through the Bible. It is tied in Rahab's window at Jericho, it is the blood on the doorposts in Egypt, it is the lamb led to the slaughter, and it runs all the way to a hill outside Jerusalem. The Old Testament is not a long wait before the good part. It is the same story, told forward.

This channel teaches the Bible simply, three videos a week, with a Reformed Baptist backbone. We start with the creeds and the five solas, work through the 1689 Confession and Keach's Catechism, and then go through Scripture itself, book by book and story by story, showing how each part points to Christ.

Simple, not shallow

Plain language is a discipline, not a shortcut. Every video is written from the text and its Scripture proofs, and checked against them before it is published. If something is genuinely difficult, we would rather take the time to explain it than skip it and leave you with a slogan.

How it is made

The channel is faceless on purpose. There is no personality to follow here, which is the point: the teaching should stand on Scripture rather than on whoever is presenting it. The videos use a narrated script with illustrated visuals, and every script is reviewed before it goes out.

Get in touch

Corrections are genuinely welcome. If we have handled a passage badly or got a fact wrong, write and tell us, and point to the text: hello@scarletthreadbible.com.

New videos go up on YouTube, and each one gets a page here with its full script.
